Welcome back Movie Nerds! Join us this week for two fantastic comedies, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar (2021), and Hot Fuzz (2007). Andra will be covering Barb & Star, a movie about two Culotte-wearing Midwestern ladies who decide to let their teased hair down and travel to Florida after losing their jobs at a furniture store. Chaos and hilarity ensue. Shelley will be covering the action-packed police spoof movie, Hot Fuzz, about Sergeant Nicholas Angel who gets promoted and sent to a quaint English countryside village. When he starts questioning the high accident rate as opposed to the low crime rate, it ruffles the feathers of locals and he, along with friend Danny, are tasked with real police work.
